Carole Martin, COTA/L
Occupational Therapy Assistant
She attended Santa Monica College where she earned an A.A. Degree, and Los Angeles City College where she earned a Certificate in Occupational Therapy.
Carole has over 30 years experience as an Occupational Therapy Assistant, working in the fields of geriatrics and pediatrics. During that time, she also owned her own retail candy business for 4 years, and taught candy-making classes at the store and the local Adult School. For the last 12 years, she has worked as an Occupational Therapy Assistant at Carousel School. She works with the teachers and students in the Early Intervention program, as well as providing direct Occupational Therapy services to children ranging in ages 3 – late teens. In 2009 she also began treating Home Health patients on a part-time basis.

Carole has attended numerous continuing educations courses on the subjects such as Autism, Sensory Integration, and Handwriting. She is certified by the California Board of Occupational Therapy and the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy.
