Evelyn James, a Registered Physical Therapist and Physical Therapy Consultant for Carousel School, will be retiring at the end of the month. Evelyn was one of the pioneer therapists to join our staff when Carousel opened the first full-inclusion Early Intervention Program in 1994. She has been nicknamed “The Miracle Worker” because of the many lives of young children she changed with her wisdom, dedication, and therapeutic knowledge and implementation. Evelyn has been an inspirational teacher for staff, supportive partner with families, and committed Physical Therapist to so many students who have been fortunate to have been in her care.

Friday, February 10th is Snow Day at Carousel!!
We will be converting our playground into a winter wonderland full of snow! Students will have an opportunity to play in the snow with their classmates and teachers. For some of our students, this may be the closest they get to experiencing real snow and all the fun that comes with it – sledding, throwing snowballs, building snowmen, and more! Everyone enjoys this special day when we bring a little winter magic to sunny California.
