Patricia Bryant-Troupe, M.A.
Speech-Language Pathologist.

Patricia has provided specialized services for children at Carousel School since the 2008 school year. She utilizes her more than 8 years of experience as a Speech-Language Pathologist delivering therapeutic services and assessment as a credentialed and licensed professional at the school. Daily responsibilities at Carousel include providing therapy in both classroom and speech-room settings; collaborating with instructors regarding effective communication routines; providing IEP documentations, reports, and assessments. Patricia speaks both English and Spanish as needed to bridge communication gaps with students. Additionally, she enjoys and values the personalities and diversity of the Carousel student population. Patricia earned her B.A., magna cum laude, in Speech-Pathology and Audiology from the University of Utah with a minor degree in Spanish. She completed advanced courses in Public Administration at California State University Los Angeles before completing a master’s degree in Communicative Disorders from the California State University Long Beach. Patricia has worked with both adults and children experiencing a range of communicative deficits such as speech/language difficultly associated with stroke, autism spectrum disorder, cerebral palsy, dysfluency, articulation-disorder, and accent dominance. Patricia has rounded her experience with special needs children by providing instruction as a substitute-special-education teacher for the local school district.
