Carousel Non-Public School: Special Education Teacher

Madell Williams is a proud thirty-five-year veteran and retired educator who devoted her career to shaping young minds in the Los Angeles School District. As a High School Government and English teacher, and later as a Bridge Coordinator within the Special Education Department, she worked tirelessly to ensure that every student had access to meaningful learning opportunities.

Even after retirement, Ms. Williams’ passion for teaching never wavered. She returned to Carousel Nonpublic School, where she now teaches the ID class. She describes her students as eager learners who bring joy and energy to the classroom, especially through music, art, and the development of essential life and academic skills.

Beyond her professional accomplishments, Ms. Williams is a proud grandmother of four, a devoted mother to her daughter, and an active member of her church ministries. She has chosen to remain single, dedicating her time and energy to service, faith, and education.

Her philosophy is simple yet powerful: to lead by example with patience, compassion, and perseverance—motivating students not only to learn, but to succeed in life.
